Terms of Service

Last updated: 17 October 2026

These terms apply when you use DuneQuote (dunequote.com), an online tool for creating quotes, invoices and credit notes and sharing them on WhatsApp. DuneQuote is run by an individual based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In these terms, “we” means the operator of DuneQuote and “you” means the person or business using it. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

DuneQuote lets you create quotes, tax invoices, invoices and credit notes, share them as links and PDFs, collect online acceptance and signatures from your clients, and receive follow-up and payment reminders. We may improve, change or remove features over time. If we make a change that significantly reduces what a paid plan includes, we will tell you in advance.

2. Your account

You sign in with a link sent to your email. Keep access to your email secure, because anyone who can open your sign-in emails can use your account. You must give accurate details and be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live.

3. Your documents and tax responsibility

You decide what goes on your documents and you are responsible for them. That includes your prices, descriptions, client details, whether you charge VAT, your TRN and whether your documents meet UAE VAT rules and any other law that applies to you. DuneQuote calculates totals and offers document layouts to help you, but it is not tax, accounting or legal advice. If you are unsure, check with a qualified tax adviser or the Federal Tax Authority (FTA).

Only tick “I'm VAT-registered” and add VAT if you are actually registered for VAT. If you are not registered, untick it so that no VAT is added.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use DuneQuote to send spam, deceive or defraud anyone, issue fake or misleading documents, infringe other people's rights, or break the law. Do not try to break, overload or get around the security of the service. We may suspend or close accounts that do these things.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you add, such as your business details, logo, client details and documents. You give us permission to store, process and display that content only as needed to run the service for you, for example to show a quote to the client you sent it to.

6. Plans, payments and cancellation

DuneQuote has a free plan and paid plans. Prices are shown in AED on our website and at checkout. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record. That means Dodo Payments sells the subscription to you, handles billing, applicable taxes and receipts, and its own terms apply to the payment.

You can cancel at any time. After you cancel, your paid plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, and then your account moves to the free plan. Refunds are handled under Dodo Payments' refund policy. If you think you were charged by mistake, email us and we will help.

7. Availability, “as is”

We work to keep DuneQuote reliable, but the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without guarantees that it will always be available, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. Keep your own copies of important documents, for example by downloading the PDFs.

8. Liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost clients or lost data. Our total liability to you for any claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Closing your account

You can stop using DuneQuote at any time and ask us to delete your account and data by emailing [email protected]. We may close accounts that break these terms, or end the service with reasonable notice.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is important, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using DuneQuote after that, the updated terms apply.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. Disputes are handled by the courts of Dubai, unless the law where you live gives you other rights.
