How sending a quote on WhatsApp works
- Create the quote in DuneQuote: your client's name and WhatsApp number, your lines in AED, VAT worked out for you if you're registered.
- Tap Send on WhatsApp. WhatsApp opens on your phone or computer with the message written, addressed to your client if you entered their number. You press send.
- Your client gets the link with a preview image of the quote. They open it on their phone, without an account, and accept or decline. With Pro+, accepting means signing on the phone.
- You see on your dashboard when the quote has been opened, accepted or declined.
The message your client receives
Hello Sara, here is your quote from Palm Studio: AED 1,050.00 (VAT incl.). View and accept here: https://dunequote.com/app/q/…
Example with made-up names, English-only mode. By default the message is in English + Arabic.
When the client goes quiet
- Every plan: on a quote your client hasn't answered, from 20 hours after you create it until the day-10 reminder, tap Send a follow-up now. WhatsApp opens with the follow-up written; you press send.
- Pro, First 50 and Pro+: DuneQuote also emails you on day 2, 5 and 10 with that follow-up ready, and emails your client a short reminder with the quote link if you added their email. These go out in our daily run at 10:00 (Dubai time).
- Reminders stop as soon as the client accepts or declines.
- DuneQuote never sends WhatsApp messages for you.
Link or PDF?
A link lets your client accept in one tap and lets you see when they've opened it. With Pro+ you can also share a PDF, collect an e-signature, and turn the accepted quote into a UAE tax invoice.
Prices and VAT
You choose. By default you enter unit prices before VAT and, if you are VAT-registered, DuneQuote adds 5% on top: a line of AED 1,000.00 gives AED 1,000.00 + AED 50.00 VAT = AED 1,050.00 total. If your prices already include VAT, tick “My prices include VAT” on the quote, or make it your default in Settings: the total is what you type and DuneQuote shows the VAT inside it, so a line of AED 1,050.00 gives AED 1,000.00 + AED 50.00 VAT = AED 1,050.00. Invoices and credit notes made from that quote keep the same setting.
Plans: Free (5 quotes a month), Pro AED 29/month (unlimited quotes, automatic reminders, no “Made with DuneQuote” footer) and Pro+ AED 49/month, VAT included. Pro+ adds e-signature, tax invoices (English + Arabic), payment reminders, credit notes, your logo and PDF sharing. First 50 customers offer: the Pro plan at AED 99/year, VAT included, while your subscription stays active (rules).
With DuneQuote you send the quote as a WhatsApp link. Your client opens it, sees the AED total with VAT, and accepts with one tap (with Pro+, they sign on their phone). No answer? Follow up in one tap: WhatsApp opens with the message ready, you just press send. With Pro, we also remind you by email on day 2, 5 and 10. Documents can be in English, or English + Arabic.
